What I liked

I liked the experience to actually get into the field of software development. I also like how small of a company they are. Another thing I like is that they are allowing me to continue working for them throughout the year. I like how they are willing to take such young interns. They hired me right after my freshman year, which is almost unheard of. That is what I like about Ontario Systems.

What I wish was different

I wish I had more experience going into the internship. Having more technical knowledge would have benefited me early on when I was still learning the ropes.

Advice

Even if you think you are too young or you think you aren't qualified for a particular internship, apply anyways. Also, take time to study the field you want to go into. I've gathered that employers are looking for candidates that use their free time for study the field they are going into.

What I liked

The internship was an awesome experience where I had an opportunity to work on real projects used by companies. They have different kind of interns program and events that helped me grow professionally and personally.

What I wish was different

I loved the internship and I cannot think of anything that I wish had been different.

Advice

Internship is really important for college students to get experience in real world problems. The more internship the better chances to get a job. I would advice to take full advantage of the facilities provided in college and attend the career fairs.

What I liked

The company (its headquarters in Muncie, In) was voted best place to work in Indiana for multiple years in a row, and I agree that it's a great place to work and get software development experience.
