I like the freedom you get to learn about topics like robotics and mechanical design. I also like the mentorship I got from my supervisor.
What I wish was different
I wish every intern would receive PLC programming training.
Advice
Alway ask questions regarding any subject. Even if you are unsure on how to wire a certain sensor, make sure to ask. First Co has many engineers willing to give you a hand on wiring and even go as far as to explain you the theory behind the style of wiring.
