What I liked
As a Case Management Intern, I gained hands-on experience of what it takes to manage clients' concerns and connect them to community resources. Through the reentry program, I've gained a lot of technical experience and systemic knowledge that has guided me in my career development. I really liked how Florida Justice Center is aware of how events on the local, state, and national level would affect the organization's mission and processes. A passion to help the local community and justice-involved adults is a must in this internship.
