Advice
The owner was just very unorganized and removed which makes sense because she has 5 businesses that all have interns. My manager (you could say) was very rude and hostile and would always blame me for her not doing her work and never seemed to be in a good mood. They also are very bad at communicating so I would ask a question, and they would get back to me 2 months later or not at all. They also are not very flexible and responsive about things that might come up. I had a family emergency and tried to call out, but they were adamant that I still was working for the whole 7 hours. A big thing was they would frequently have meetings without me while I was working and would just expect me to understand everything that was talked about even though they didn’t want me in the meeting. It was just little things like that at an unpaid internship that added up by the end of the 4 months.
BIGGEST THING: after the internship was complete, they never filled out the completion form so I had no proof that I had worked for them and couldn't get my credit in before the deadline to graduate
