What I liked

I really liked the company culture! Everyone is super amazing and I am having a wonderful experience at Fonterra. Moreover, I am doing something I love. I enjoy marketing on social media and this experience has shown me that I want to pursue a career in Social Media Marketing. More importantly, it has taught me so much that I will be able to take away to future jobs. I am absolutely happy with my career choice.

What I wish was different

I wish that the there was the option of extending my internship into a full-time job. Unfortunately, it is evident that this won't be the case. I really do enjoy working there and love the company culture. I've developed a lot of professional friendship and will hopefully be able to take those with me.

Advice

My biggest advice is, find something you love to do! Oftentimes we go for an internship just because it was the only option or we needed money. But, trust me you're not stuck! Even after you get the internship, keep looking; especially, if you're not fully satisfied. Even when you feel trapped, believe in yourself and know there are options out there! Most importantly, take every learning experience with you and grow your career.
