What I liked

I enjoyed becoming more involved in my community. It was nice developing relationships with the seniors on my grocery route.

What I wish was different

Just wish I had found out about this program sooner.

Advice

If you have time, do something to help someone else. This was my favorite part of this experience.

What I liked

It was easy-going and the people were fantastic! The work itself was rewarding and it felt good to be a part of the community.

What I wish was different

1. Communication earlier on regarding exact hours worked would have been ideal. 2. Oh, FFLC, how I love you... but PLEASE work towards being more environmentally sustainable! <3 We don't need plastic sporks, straws, bags, etc. There must be another way!

Advice

Make sure you ask upfront what the exact hours will be. They may not be able to give that to you, but at least you will be able to plan accordingly (including maybe finding another job).
