I loved being able to learn how a non-profit can actively engage in supporting their forest preserve district and inform people about opportunities in the preserves.

Less emphasis on fundraising and more time in the preserves

The advice I would share for future interns at the Forest Preserve Foundation is to do the best work you can do and take criticism with an open mind.
