Software Engineer Co-op

What I liked
The compositions of my team was one of the most positive experiences for me. It comprised a small group of young, full time developers and QA working closely together. There was a total of 2 co-op on that team. It was nice in that it was all co workers I could relate with and get to know well. One of the members on my team became a mentor to me, which I found very helpful in my time there
What I wish was different
Wish there was more input from the developers or QA with regard to features being worked on. I think refactoring is one thing that is overlooked and needs to be done from time to time
Advice
I would suggest finding someone that you could learn a lot from. I was fortunate enough to find a co worker that took me on as a mentor and it was a great experience
