What I liked about the job is that we had 4 hours every day (Mon-Fri) and the kids had a break in between those for hours. We had enough time to teach them materials and work on projects and the break work well for the kids. I also enjoyed the little exhibition the kids had and the teachers also displayed their work.
What I wish was different
I wish the exhibition was different because the district also combined the music student's event and you weren't able to appreciate the exhibition as much. It would have been greater if the art student had the exhibition another day without the music program.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is having patience because the kids are learning something new and they will ask you a lot of questions. I would go help a student and another 4 students were asking for my help.

What I liked
I liked the salary, since it was extra money. This Dictrict has open positions throughout the year. I applied for a six month position, and I stayed there. Good work environment and opportunity to grow.
What I wish was different
I honestly feel like everything was good. I wouldn’t change anything.
Advice
My advice is to do your best at your job, even if is temporary. You would need recomendation letters for upcoming positions after graduating from NAU.
