What I liked

I had an amazing experience working with the Generation 180 team. My supervisor was supportive, insightful, and gave me a lot of flexibility with my assigned tasks. I gained many valuable skills via my duties involving CRM management and survey development. I recommend anyone interested in nonprofits or the environment collaborate with them in the future.

What I liked

Creative liberty to manage my schedule throughout the day, choose my own projects, and delegate tasks to other interns.

What I wish was different

I wish I could've devoted more time to the job as a paid intern, I had to be part-time for financial reasons.

Advice

Be keen on industry news in whatever internship/job you pursue; you'll find that employers and your adult coworkers are impressed by your outside knowledge and creativity when you add your young person's perspective to industry current events.
