Supply Chain Intern

What I liked

Georgia Pacific developed my technical and professional skills. As my first supply chain internship, my experience elevated my supply chain knowledge. The six month program allowed me to experience what it would be like to have a full time position there. I was given real responsibilities and felt like I was a part of the team.

What I wish was different

I wish the supply chain interns could have had more activities to get to know each other, or at least time to discuss there roles with each other. I believe this is being improved, but it can be tough coming into a new place, and being able to talk with other interns can be helpful.

Advice

I would like to encourage anyone joining Georgia Pacific to learn the "why" in everything that you do. This will help you down the road when explaining what exactly you did during your internship.
