The amount of exposure and hands-on experience I was allowed to receive during the internship. A lot of trust and responsibilities were given to me that were very impactful to the financial status of the company.
What I wish was different
More exposure to other fields in accounting than just tax.
Advice
Keep asking for more work, never do the bare minimum or what they have just given you. Be proactive and ask for more ways to be of assistance to your colleagues and supervisors!
