I liked the amount of freedom I was given. They answered questions and pointed you in the right direction. The rest was up to you. Thus, you were carefully scrutinized before hand in order to make sure you were made of good material.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to do more calculations etc. I was assigned to relatively simple tasks that did not require much mechanical engineering knowledge.
Advice
Internships are a great way to figure out what you want and don't want to do. I now have a much better knowledge of the industry and whether I want to get into it.
