What I liked
I loved the people I worked with, and the campers that I got to meet. It was so much fun working with different people and teaching arts and crafts. It was great to see the different ideas campers had. Plus as counselors we got to participate in a lot of cool games!
What I wish was different
I wish I had gotten more sleep, but honestly it was worth it most of the time.
Advice
It's okay to make mistakes and to ask your co-counselors for help, and do not forget to take a break (it's okay to go to the bathroom).

I loved the hands-on experience I gained when working with the children. I gained valuable experience in a field that I wish to pursue.

I wish the position was longer during the summer.
Advice
Don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Confidence is key. If you are confident in yourself, others will be confident in you as well.
