I liked crafting lessons and activities about literacy for our summer camp participants. Additionally, it was a great experience being able to facilitate the girls' learning while empowering them to be confident young ladies.
What I wish was different
I wish I had built better connections with my fellow interns.
Advice
I would say that facilitating a day of camp is a marathon, not a sprint! Young girls have a lot of energy, and it is important to keep your energy up throughout the day to keep them engaged.
