It was a good way for me to learn talking and social skills. I worked with a great team who all were passionate about the campaign that we were working on. It is also great for experience considering I would like to work on more political campaigns in the future.
What I wish was different
It is time consuming and it is tiring. Between canvassing and school I didn't have much if really any time to myself.
Advice
Even if it isn't something that is down your career path, it is definitely a great job to have to help attain both soft and hard skills.
