In 1982, Jack Pregont started GOEX in Janesville, Wisconsin to supply PVC extruded sheet to Prent Corporation. By 1990, GOEX spun-off as a sister corporation led by the President and CEO of Prent, Joseph Pregont. The goal was to create two focused companies dedicated to driving value in their respective areas of expertise. By 1992, GOEX had grown significantly, demanding yet another expansion which increased both warehouse and production capacity to 75,000 square feet. Continued growth prompted the need for additional personnel, equipment, and technologies; all of which support GOEX’s commitment to continuous improvement and quality products.
Today under the leadership of President and CEO, Joshua Gray, GOEX operates out of the most advanced custom plastic sheet extrusion facility in the industry. The facility design and layout was a collaborative effort with employees from every department in the company sharing input and ideas. The new building was complete in 2015, boasting 190,000 square feet and 10 extrusion lines. GOEX now stands alone at its dedicated facility off of Highway 14 in Janesville, Wisconsin.
