Discipline is very important if you wish to succeed at this job, the employers might not be the best communicators or informants but the job comes with a lot of responsibilities. Be ready to work really hard.

What I liked
Loved the opportunity to meet and network with scientists from a wide variety of fields! The supervisors were not on sight, but always have your back and are very helpful.
What I wish was different
The split-shift hours are difficult, but if you like a gap in the middle of the day, this job is a fantastic college summer experience.
Advice
Pay attention to the research you are learning, it is a unique experience and gives you helpful experience for working with professionals.

Moving for 3 months to an entirely new place practically alone can be a lot to handle! Make sure to support yourself and have resources available.
