I enjoyed being able to work with the rest of the digital content team in producing media, writing news articles, and learning about the different aspects of a digital media company in today's world.
What I wish was different
There were many times where the internship was slow simply because there wasn't allocated work for me. I was their first intern to work for more than a few weeks, so many of my coworkers didn't have things for me to do around the office
Advice
If you go into a journalism internship, be sure to take full advantage of it. By the end of it, I had written over 45 articles for the company. Ask for work that interests you, and you will receive it.
