There is a lot of work involved and sometimes you won't get a response from bands for days or weeks so good communication skills are important

What I liked

It's remote and you can do all your work from home. The other interns tend to be very nice and the CEO is incredibly knowledgeable and hands on with the interns! You get to see a whole new side of the music industry.

What I wish was different

I wish there was more opportunity for me personally to help out with events but I am on the other side of the U.S. so it is much harder for me to get over there!

Advice

If you don't take anything away from college or a job, take away communication. Effective and fast communication solves most issues in the workplace.

Graphic Design/Marketing Intern

What I liked

It's completely remote, but based out of Phoenix, AZ. I learned a lot of different skills: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, imovie, Wordpress. I got to walk dogs for their monthly fundraiser and keep the leftover money. I got to be super creative by designing all their posters, newsletters, promotional videos, and designing websites!

What I wish was different

There was not a lot of interns so I had to do a lot of the work for the company. They tried being accommodating to my school schedule, but still it's a lot to do.
