I liked being able to go and visit the elderly and give them companionship.

Advice
To be patient. The lady I volunteer to go and see has dementia, so she has a hard time remember what we talked about and sometimes will say the same thing over again. Therefore you want to be patient and go along with the story so they don’t feel bad.
