I enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the cohort I worked with. The people at EASEL were really friendly and passionate as were the teachers we worked with in surrounding states.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more in person opportunities but the aftermath of the pandemic limited them.
Advice
Never think certain opportunities are out of your reach!!

What I liked
I liked that the experience was so international and it brought in a lot of people from outside of the United States. I think that I gained a lot of expertise in excel and other website functions in order to track data both before and after events.
What I wish was different
At the beginning it felt like they kind of threw us into the role, so I wish there was a little more guidance.
Advice
It's okay to make mistakes, and if you aren't making mistakes then you're doing something wrong. In the long run, you'll learn a lot more by finding ways to improve on the next event being held.

What I liked
I loved working in a professional environment it really gave me a great opportunity to see how that compares to the classroom. My coworkers were incredible people and the amount of opportunities that were available to me to go above and beyond were plentiful. I was so glad they asked me to come back!
What I wish was different
I wish I had lived closer to work. I had a very long commute and this summer I plan on living more in the city.
Advice
I would say to always ask for more work; once you've finished all your assigned tasks of course. But my bosses loved that because at my job there was always a lot to do, and they understood but often forgot that we as interns didn't know every little thing that had to be done. So when we asked what more we could do, they really appreciated that.
