I really enjoyed working with Heffernan over the summer! I liked that I got to work on two useful programs that will be used by much of the company. Everyone I worked with was extremely nice, helpful, and professional. I also love that Heffernan is passionate about giving back and I had the opportunity to participate in multiple volunteering events throughout my internship.
What I wish was different
Some people work from home part-time, so the office occasionally felt a bit empty.
Advice
Heffernan is a great place to intern for IT. While they're not quite a "tech firm" there is a lot of innovation going on to improve efficiency through software.
