I loved the way they taught all of their interns a deeper understanding of how the company operates. They made sure we saw each of the important pieces of what makes Hefren-Tillotson so successful.
What I wish was different
I wish we had gotten more time to learn about how their Financial Advisory team operates. I really enjoyed the time we had to hear about what they do, but I wanted to learn even more!
Advice
My advice would be to not be afraid to take on challenges. They really encourage their interns to take on projects and make your time with the company a great learning experience.

What I liked
I loved my internship, it was very hands on. I got trained with their new hire in my department so I got to do tasks that every entry-level employee is expected to do. My feedback and questions were also very welcomed, everyone wanted to help me learn and by being outgoing they began to ask for my outlook on a lot of different aspects of their business.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to go out with an adviser for a client meeting one day, just to really see what it was like.
Advice
Never be afraid to ask questions. Internships are for you to learn, if you want more work or you have an idea, speak up. By making an impact during your time there, that is how they will remember you.
