I liked the environment it was small and easy to work with. I was a mover and helped people in need move into houses.
What I wish was different
Sometimes people got disrespectful and then that resulted in homeless people getting kicked out the shelter.
Advice
Never judge anyone on their differences. The homeless volunteered to help me work at times, one time we had to move 1,000 mattresses into a juvenile facility, it showed we are all equal, and money doesn't shape who we are.
