I enjoyed working in an environment that I am familiar with and being able to be around the game of golf. I also had the oppurtunity to communicate with people on a day to day basis. As an extrovert, I liked the chance to interact with other people as opposed to working on a computer.
What I wish was different
I would have had a better experience if my responsibilities had been more organized and I knew specifically what was expected of me. I found that I was confused at times on the exact details regarding my tasks and I wish that my guidelines had been more concise.
Advice
One piece of advice that I would give to someone considering this position is to communicate effectively with the members of the club. The job consists of constant interaction with golfers and to maintain effective job performance, one must converse with the members to present the club in a professional fashion. The key to communication is to be bold and confident.
