What I liked

I enjoyed the work environment and the people that I worked with. Even if I had a full day of tasks, it would not even feel like work. I have grown not only professionally but also personally and gained experience in marketing and admin.

What I wish was different

If my major were in marketing, I would apply to work here full time after college. Marketing is my minor, and I got great experience during these months at HIP. The unknown of pursuing a job in my major when I already know the operations of this company makes it difficult to leave. But there is no growth without a challenge!

Advice

I never thought that I would be an intern at a digital marketing agency. While students are in school, I would encourage them to take any opportunity that they believe would be beneficial for them in the future. Even though marketing is not my major, I have learned a great deal about the field and am going to take what I have learned personally and professionally into my next job. So, for current students, take the opportunity even if it is your minor. You may find yourself pleasantly surprised.
