What I liked

I like the vibe of the camp. I like the enthusiastic staff who are ready to make the kids experience unforgettable. They have amazing kids. . I like how boys and girls campers empower each other by connecting with each other, sharing common interests.

What I wish was different

Advice

I want to share it was fun working for this organization. We create a magical experience for the kids, as well as my self. I enjoy taking kids to different activities around the camp and engaging with them. I especially like them taking them to art & craft, and pool. This organization has so many fun activities planned for each day. Each group of kids has 2 or more camp consular. Note that when you enter the camp, you will be given a daily schedule for the day. I like that the camp coordinator had a section, a time session given in the morning to check the kids and another camp consular will take the kid to check up in the nurse trailer. In summer 2023, health and safety of the kids was taken seriously. I saw no COVID outbreak. If you decide to be any camp consular or bus consular, I was both, you need to give 24hr notice for any absents. I had fun this summer because of this organization, staff and the kids. I miss the kids. And the pizza party.

Advice

Don’t apply to work here. High turnover rate, working for 40 hour weeks for the equivalent of pennies, and TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. I quit because of their inability to handle COVID cases that were popping up. Don’t keep the camp for kids with CANCERS open if there is an active COVID outbreak.
