Even with all of the COVID-19 regulations, House of Hope was a wonderful place to give back to the community in a safe and fun way! I was able to package goods, learn new skills, and interact with new people.
What I wish was different
Again, due to the current pandemic situation, the number of people that can volunteer at a time was very limited so sign up for spots at times was the only mishap I ran into which I understand is out of their control. But other than that it was truly great!
Advice
Be prepared to work for a great cause! Come with open arms and an open heart.
