I kind of wish I made more contacts for potential business in the future. I have plans for my hobby and major to intertwine in the future so that would have been nice!
Advice
Even though you have freedom of schedule make sure you still remain accurate and diligent with time. Also, conversation is an incredible tool when it comes to making connections with individuals inside and outside of your profession, hobby or major.

I loved my job. It required me to put all my mathematical skills to work.
What I wish was different
I wish my boss had been better. She had no sense of boundaries and all of my overtime work was unpaid but mandatory, which there was a lot of. She would always ask me to work on my days off and overtime on my work days but I wasn't allowed to ask for payment for that extra time and if I refused to give unpaid labor they would threaten to lay me off.
Advice
Do not let your bosses take advantage of you. Set your hours and pay ahead of time and make sure there is a clear understanding about where you stand on working overtime and make sure that under any circumstances you do not agree to any amount of unpaid labor.
