I loved being able to use both my skill and my passion for 3D modeling and SolidWorks nearly every day on the job. It was a great way to learn new skills within the program as well as refine my existing skills while also getting my feet wet in the defense industry
What I wish was different
This summer was a lot of individual work/projects that I would do in my own section of the office, and I wish there had been more team based projects that I could have participated in.
Advice
Be active in getting to know the rest of your coworkers! Whether it's this job or any other internship that you have, the best way to get the most out of your experience is by getting to know the people working around you.
