I gained a wide base in nonprofit development-- my supervisors allowed me to take on a variety of assignments that gave me experience with event planning, major donor management, and operational work. Would not trade this experience for the world!

What I liked
The experience really opened my eyes to how nonprofits are bridging gaps between humanitarian aid and development. They allowed me to take on a lot of different projects so that I could learn a lot of different experiences.

Ask for new and different things to do and ask a lot of questions! People are eager to help.
