I have been given opportunities to grow in all areas I desire. Every time I want to experience something new I have been able to do projects or help with things to gain experience outside of my regular job duties. I have also been able to gain valuable knowledge from my bosses which has helped me develop my chosen career path.
What I wish was different
Sometimes communication with other departments struggles, but as of recently it is getting much better.
Advice
I have learned that everything I have gained from my time here has been based off effort. If you show you care and want to grow then the sky is the limit for knowledge and opportunity.

Accounts Receivable Accountant
May 2018 - June 2019 • Draper, UT
What I liked
I have enjoyed my time and KNS for numerous reasons. One of the biggest contributors was the flexibility that they offered while I was in my MACC program. I was able to take off certain days when I had big tests/projects as long as I was able to completely all my responsibilities. I also really appreciated that the accounting team would take time to explain something if it didn't make sense because I am relatively new to the profession, and have a tax background not audit..
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have spoken up about some of my concerns sooner rather than later. As soon as I told my supervisor the issues I was having, he took immediate action to correct it which made me feel supported as an employee.
Advice
If you have a concern about the company, environment or job responsibilities, you should talk to your supervisor when it comes an issue so that it can be resolved quicker than ignoring it and hoping it goes away.
