I love working with the kids! Creating programs and doing storytime is one of the best things about my job.
What I wish was different
I think I was just lucky to be given the opportunity at the right time, however, the hiring process is a bit lengthy because this is a government job. I wish the process would have been faster.
Advice
Be patient! If you already have a job, do not put in a two weeks notice until you receive an official start date. Some jobs will provide you with a conditional offer, but nothing is official until you start.
