The organization was super open and friendly and focused on my professional development. I had a lot of support from the Princeton Internships in Civic Service program.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have had longer to decide whether to accept the offer; the PICS program gives you only a few days to decide.
Advice
I would advise people to ask questions and make sure to talk to lots of different people in the office about their various career paths. It was helpful to hear how many different routes there are to end up in a civic service position.
