What I liked
Working with Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my entire life. They haven't just given me an internship, they have given me a place to thrive. Working at LIA has made me want to be a better employee, it has also shown me the direction I'd like to take in my career. The work environment was professional, but also very open. My supervisors were extremely supportive. I am so grateful for LIA and everyone there.
What I wish was different
I wish I wouldn't have been so nervous when I first started! It really makes me sad to think I doubted myself so much.
Advice
Be as involved as you can and take all the opportunities they throw at you!
