The Linguistic Society of America (LSA) was founded in 1924 to advance the scientific study of language. LSA plays a critical role in supporting and disseminating linguistic scholarship both to professional linguists and to the general public.

“Work involved doing various tasks such as setting up events, ushering events, assisting with workshops, and running the Facebook and Twitter social media pages for the LSA Linguistics Institute at Davis 2019. The work environment was not too intensive, and never did I feel like the work environment toxic.”
