No matter how large they grow, they remain true to their roots: family. It is a true each-one-teach-one style company and internship program. Each intern is assigned a mentor on paper; however, you quickly learn to use all company resources to complete whatever task is at hand.
What I wish was different
The internship program is fairly new and developing, so they still have some kinks to work out.
Advice
Don't be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and ask to rotate around the company. You never know where your strengths lie and Metromont has plenty of experiences to offer!
