What I liked
The hours were very flexible, the pay was alright but I got overtime frequently, and I got to be outside and among people my own age.
What I wish was different
I wish I hadn't had to work so late each night, because I missed a lot of family and friend events that I wished I could have attended.
Advice
Do it! I got a lot of experience in managing people, planning tasks, and diagnosing things that went wrong. So far it has served me very well as a talking point with employers.

What I liked
Midwest Pool Management provides a secure and team-focused work environment that encourages cooperation and diligence. I greatly enjoy my time working with MPM as a supervisor.
What I wish was different
Some safety regulations fall short at certain pools, and scheduling can be a bit of a mess. However, if you stay on top of your own schedule, everything will fall into place eventually.
Advice
If you like being outside and working with people, this is the job for you! Be prepared to take safety seriously.
