What I liked
I got to learn a lot of different areas within the trade. Since I was always curious and asking questions I started as a shoveler, then moved to raking, and ended up being the finish roller by the end of the summer. I also really liked that the job changed day to day from where we were paving to how the parking lot or driveway was designed. The company also treated me very professionally and cared how I was even though I started with one of the lowest positions in the company.
