Software Development Intern

June - August 2019 • Irondale, AL

What I liked

Motion Industries is a huge company, but it doesn't feel like it at all when you work there. Everyone is so personable and nice. People call you by name when you're in the halls and tell you good morning. Also, they are very open to new ideas and even encourage them. They do not want to stifle talent in any way. I had a great time working here and getting to know everyone.

What I wish was different

I wish that the location had been a little bit closer to my apartment. The 30-40 minute drive all the way to Irondale was not very fun to make 5 days a week.

Advice

If you're looking for an internship in the field, you can't go wrong applying to Motion. They take care of their employees (interns included) in the best way. You will not be disappointed.
