Put me out of my comfort zone, challenged me to work a real 9-5 shift daily, taught me a lot about the production process.
What I wish was different
I wish there was a bit more training because I had to ask a lot of questions when I first started but I got the hang of it later on.
Advice
Challenge yourself to do a job out of your comfort zone, something that forces you to get your hands dirty because you will gain a lot from it.

Driver
May - August 2018 • Butler, PA
What I liked
Driving personal vehicle, steady hours, weekends off, straightforward work, ability to meet many people and mechanics in different garages and learn about cars
What I wish was different
My commute to work was too long, all my coworkers were twice my age and male, car maintenance took up a lot of my free time/money
Advice
If you decide to use your own vehicle for work (Uber, Lyft, parts delivery etc) I would suggest having some knowledge on your car and how to work on it. Repairing your car yourself will save you a lot of money since garages and shops are costly.
