Health care especially in nursing and assisted living homes is like taking care of someone else’s grandparents so don’t use it as an excuse for a job and money when everything you do has such a larger impact.

What I liked
I love taking care of the residents and building a relationship with them.
What I wish was different
Wish there were always enough staff. When we have to work challenged, the only ones who suffer are the residents.
Advice
If you want to work in an environment like this, you need to have the passion for it and put your heart into the cares you provide.

I think its a good experience if you want to learn how to take care of other people and grow in communication skills. Learning how to have empathy and patience is key in this job.
