What I liked
I liked the responsibility of entry level management. It allowed me to make bigger decisions and inspired me to try to be the best leader I could be.
What I wish was different
I wish I had gotten more training. I was previously an associate so when I returned as temporary keyholder 2 years later it was assumed I still knew what I was doing.
Advice
Be a humble leader! It's okay to admit when you're wrong and it's definitely okay to care about your employees and customers. When stress comes your way, remember the company values and why you got hired to do what you do.
