Advice

Make sure that you are up to date on how to collect and properly seal specimen. As well as knowing the invasive species in the lake you are working on.

Conservation Program Intern

July - August 2019 • Concord, NH

What I liked

I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the office, the people working there, and the flexibility that came with the internship.

What I wish was different

I would have enjoyed getting paid over the course of my internship, but since NH LAKES is a non-profit I did not go in expecting to get paid.

Advice

It is all about the phrasing you use when you turn to google for "how to" videos.
