Nielsen provides a lot of flexability to its interns. You have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and manage your own schedule.
What I wish was different
I would have liked more time to get to know the other interns during training. We are spread out across the country so it can be hard to interact with everyone.
Advice
Don't be shy about asking your manager how you can improve. Nielsen extends full-time offers to people who are top performers AND are keen on improving themselves.

I had a neat project in Robot Process Automation. It was neat to interact with the Korean employees after studying abroad and gain insight into the client database delivery process.

What I liked
Great people, and I really enjoyed being in the Tampa area. I also was given a pretty interesting and challenging project to work on over the summer.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been given a more leadership focused project, since that was what the program was for and what they were looking for.
Advice
It is very competitive for full time, so put your best foot out there and be very proactive about taking other opportunities doing the 10 weeks.
