Noodles & Company

Shift Manager

October 2021 • Denver, CO

What I liked

Allows for team members to easily move up with the company.

What I wish was different

General manager treated all managers unfairly and targeted specific employees she didn't like. On multiple occasions I've also had to fight to be paid. General Manger was manipulative and created an environment of distrust between coworkers.

Advice

Work hard but not too hard, your hard work will be recognized by them continuously expecting you to do other people's job.

I liked my coworkers and making the food.

What I wish was different

I wish the company paid better, employees could accept tips, and that I didn't always have to work closing shifts.

Shift Manager

January 2018 • Rochester Hills, MI

What I liked

I was given the opportunity to really challenge myself, becoming a manager after only about six months of working at the restaurant. It was neat to learn new skills in such a short amount of time.

What I wish was different

It would have been nice to not have to split my time between work and school. I understand that is just how it is right now, but of course, it would have been a little less stressful.

Advice

Work hard! Always. It definitely pays off.
