Norfolk Naval Shipyard is the oldest and largest shipyard dedicated to the repair, overhaul and modernization of the US Atlantic Fleet. Capabilities include all types of repairs on Naval vessels ranging from the largest nuclear powered aircraft carriers afloat to the most modern nuclear submarines.
Entry level engineers are involved in the planning, scheduling and execution of complex repairs to equipment in turbo machinery, HVAC plants, Interior Communications, Weapons and Fire Control Systems, Sonar, Radar and Navigation systems, reactor plant machinery and associated equipment, microprocessor and microelectronics installation, overhaul, repair and troubleshooting. United States Citizenship required.
