About North Chicago Community Partners

North Chicago Community Partners (NCCP) was created in 2008 as a direct response to the challenges facing students and their families in North Chicago- an under-resourced community located just a few miles from Lake Forest, IL. Through the implementation of the "community school" model, NCCP has the privilege of developing strong relationships within this community and providing programs and support that complement classroom instruction, enhance student learning, strengthen school climate, actively engage parents, and address the needs of the whole child. Our community school model is efficient, effective and flexible, and provides support in the following areas:
- Extended Learning and Enrichment Opportunities
- Family Engagement, Enrichment and Education
- Student and Family Health, Wellness and Care
