This was an amazing experience where I had the opportunity to improve my education skills while simultaneously helping to provide an educational resource to the local community. I learned far more from the kids I was teaching than I ever have in class and I hope they, in turn, learned something from me.

Advice
I would recommend that students pursuing this experience be prepared to be self-driven, very creative, and think out of the box about ways in which you can improve your programs to better serve visitor needs. Each child and family is very different and you need to be prepared to adapt to a variety of different situations.
